The apartment is situated in an historic building in the heart of Østerbro Copenhagen. The entrance and staircase of the building were preserved beautifully, but the apartment itself did not retain many period features. The space was a white blank canvas - taking inspiration from the historical aspects of the building, and working with a specialist carpenter the apartment was brought back to its original grander. Adding texture, colour and classical furniture combined with modern touches - all working together to elevate the open plan layout and function of the space.
